Alginate dressing is an advanced moist wound dressing, composed with biodegradable, highly absorbent alginate fiber which is derived from seaweed, available in flat and rope pattern, indicated for the moderate to heavy exuding wounds, contains mannuronic acid and guluronic acid (50%-70% Mannuronic acid and 30%-50% Glucuronic acid). The dressing can absorb large amount of exudates. High absorbency, minimize pain and provide a moist wound environment to accelerate the wound healing.

Dimora Alginate dressing is intended for moderate to heavily exuding wounds like partial and full thickness burns, donor sites, diabetic foot ulcer, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, cavity wounds and most other granulating wounds.
